French Government Sees Ecoonomy Shrinking 11% This Year
(Bloomberg) -- French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire says the economy will contract 11% in 2020, marking a deeper recession than France previously expected.
“The economy was almost stopped for three months and we will pay for it in growth,” Le Maire says on RTL radio.
The next emergency budget will be based on a contraction of 11% instead of 8% as in the last budget.
